Although she was eliminated first, and lost the match. In FCW TV she fought with Naomi Knight, against Leah West & Byron Sexton. The tag team partner of Arian was Byron Sexton. Naomi as well as Arian themselves made the WrestleMania The XXVIII premiere. Arian took part in the TLC (Tables Ladders and Chairs episode) towards the end of the year. In February of 2013 she participated in her debut SmackDown match. Since then she's fought at SmackDown Main event along with different WWE shows. In September 2013, she was a part of Total Divas through the 7-on-7 elimination tag-team match against True Divas team. Mendes defeated her during the contest. The winner was the Divas Champion in February's Elimination Chamber and defeated AJ Lee. That same week, she had a second match with Lee however she was unable to keep the title. Ariana then took her revenge on Lee at the Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational that Lee took home. Summer Rae, Natalya Eva Marie Rosa Mendes joined Ariana to compete in a handicap of 6-1 against Nikki Bella. The trio only showed up to fight Nikki Bella. On the Battleground show, Ariana was in a match with Naomi. Ariana won the battle against Naomi in the battle. As a consequence, they began competing. Through the summer they engaged in a number of handicap singles as well as tag team matches.
